Dimensions
9cm x 6cm (multiple work of 100)

This is a multiple embroidered artwork constituting 100 pieces, based on an eighteenth century physiological study of the bee sting. This was when microscopy enabled the shocking discovery that "worker"bees are female, though their ovaries have evolved into poison factories and their egg-laying canals into thorned stings. The embroideries are gradually being distributed amongst bee-keepers of the world, who sew them onto their bee-suits.
