Adrift

By  Ann Goddard 2014

Part of an ongoing body of work exploring the impact of human activity on nature, ‘Adrift’ was inspired by research into the marine environment. The structure references the decline in use of traditional, environmentally friendly, fishing gear materials e.g. willow, which was previously used to construct lobster & crab pots.

Materials: willow, wire

Technique: woven construction
