Award winning series of three miniature paper sculptures made for an international paper competition in Bulgaria. They represent the millions of small life forms, as yet unknown to science, which are in danger of becoming extinct through loss of habitat caused by human activity. The forest clearing method of 'slash and burn' influenced the tearing and burning of the paper. Lokta paper was chosen for its sustainability as its production has little impact on the environment.
