Aegis Three has a similar geometrical structure as Aegis Two and Aegis One and loosely references the aegis [shield] of Athena referred to in several places in The Iliad. It follows the Gadfly series and its theme of protection. Is it a feeling, a metaphor, a representation, a sign?
