Aphrodite Reborn

Painted with a twin, Aphrodite Reborn is a representation of my romantic self as I stand in the breakers. Inspired by Song to the Siren by Tim Buckley, a shadow is cast over the wave of a figure, hand aloft with seaweed floating in its palm. The warm pinkish colour of the seaweed is matched by a distant buoy, it's paint weathered by the seawater.
