Apporter sa pierre à l’édifice/Bring to the table Dates: 6 – 18 September 2014 Rugby Art Gallery and Museum The exhibition, Apporter sa pierre à l’édifice/Bring to the table, presents, in a sense, an interim report on the progress of an international exchange project and offers an insight into how artists respond to visual and verbal ideas. Apporter sa pierre à l’édifice/Bring to the table, seeks to take the idea of the confusion of multi-lingual conversation as a starting point for the artists to create new work. Over the past two years, the artists have brought ideas to the table via Skype and email conversations, by exchanging objects and artifacts, and, subsequently through the use of a blog, have archived the process of communication and response.
