Arrow zine

By  Andrew Howe 2019
A collaborative risograph-printed zine using artwork and poems made in workshops for the Scour 2 project, and photography of the landscape in the River Arrow valley in Redditch. Over the Summer 2019, I led two art walks and workshops for the Scour 2 project, delivered by artists Elizabeth Turner and Keith Ashford. The project was inspired by the Forge Mill Needle Museum collections and the relationship between the needle industry and the surrounding landscape of the River Arrow valley and Bordesley Abbey. It was funded by Arts Council England and funding partners. I led group walks in the north and south of the Arrow Valley Country Park followed by collage and mapping workshops at the Bordesley Abbey Visitor Centre. For the first of the walks we were accompanied by local historian Tony Green.
