This drawing was made as part of an animation process, as part of a film involving Earthly visions being superimposed onto landscapes resembling the lunar surface, originally influenced by a 16th century engraving of the moon made by Claude Mellan. The tree was also drawn from another source in the same museum (Plymouth City Museum and Art Gallery). The photographic background in this part of the film sequence is the scene of a terrorist attack which has been turned into a beach landscape with stormy sea in the back ground. The mule reappears in a subsequent film scene. The film is to be completed in autumn 2003.
