Biomorphic forms

This is one of my paintings which draws me into a still and calm state of being. The process was both cathartic and challenging. Yellow is not usually one of the colours I work with although whatever I feel led to use I'll take up the challenge however much it takes me out of my comfort zone.

Bcalm has a history of transition starting from 2013 when I exhibited this painting in a solo show in London, Thomas and Paul Gallery. Returning after the show I modified the painting by simplifying the complex array of shapes and making subtle changes to the colour values. Then in early 2015, post West Pier Art project, I changed it again.
