Blue Window 1

One of a new series of cyanotypes that are being made under the restrictions of spring/summer 2020. From a position of isolation I reflect on absent friends and family, and the distant connections we still make via the internet and telephones. Looking more closely at the immediate environment, such as through the circle of a microscope lens, led to the circular format and recurrent theme of the bubble with all it's metaphorical resonances.
