BOOM

BROOM IN BLOOM symposium working with broom in the village of Hoyocasero, Avila, Spain. I responded directly to the flowers and the village walls, working through a flurry of site specific experiments in a short space of time. I paused in my inquiries to look more fully at the the idea of the bouquet and the thrust of this work as a metaphor for the explosion of flowers in the landscape, the explosion of nature. Other experiments involved white broom, less finished but still pricking my interest.
