Chairs are stacked at varying heights. The stacks accentuate the design of the chairs and also appear as figures, higher beings, calling to mind super heroes, batman or exotic hybrids. The repeated layers of legs look sumptuous, glossy, feather like with suggestions of Egyptian sculpture and the monumental. From some angles the layers interlock going both up and down in an impossible Escher like pattern.
