Work produced during my aa2a residency at the University of Derby.

These linocuts hark back to illustrations in my favourite fairy tale book from childhood, written by Alison Uttley who was born in Cromford, Derbyshire.

Upon visiting her birthplace I began to consider the dry stone wall/hawthorn hedgerow farm boundaries and ideas around safety and respect. It's all about the boundaries.
