Title credit to the Fatback Band and their 1975 recording of funky brilliance. I was commissioned by Creative Giants for client Coventry City Council and Avanti West Coast to create an original installation for the Grade II Listed Coventry Station, as part of the £80m development and Station Masterplan and to celebrate Coventry City of Culture 2021 (extended into Summer 2022). The work was extended to cover 4 new environmentally friendly Bus Shelters in the adjacent transport interchange and 2 new shelters on nearby Warwick Road. The main station artwork was re-engineered and detailed for close up viewing. The works are temporary and will be in place until Summer 2024.
