Sculpture celebrating the identity of the Canning Circus area of Nottingham City. Commissioned by Nottingham City Council the sculpture is a playful take on the idea of Circus with a wrap around banner spiralling the top of the artwork. This surround a freize of images which depict the rich heritage of the area including Alfred Lord Canning ( Shortest lived PM of the UK until Liz Truss); hundreds of years of Brewing and pubs; burial of criminals , and significant buildings. the sculpture also represents the roundabout after which the circus is named.
Steel galvanized and mordanted.
