This illustration honours Master Ng Kam Chun, a seal-carving artisan I met during a visit to Pun Han Sin Koon in Man Wa Lane, Hong Kong. He has over 40 years' experience. His dedication to traditional craftsmanship was deeply inspiring. Through this work, I reflect on the importance of preserving cultural heritage through practice and reimagining it in a contemporary context. The illustration is a portrait of his shop and celebrates the living heritage of Chinese seal carving.
