Cats Cradle

A performative work about releasing, addressing and understanding trauma. 
The work originated from a personal dream and then became a reality.

 The performance was initially staged by the sea in Hove on a beach in August 2024.The two participants  are bound and connected by past lives with intersecting relationships, friendships, locations, work and life changing events.

Unlike the searing pain of trauma that cuts through everything this performance is a gentle, nuturing mediative winding/unwinding and drawing of thread to make lines and shapes on the bodies of the participants.This is turn creates a compelling space between them, an entangled drawing hanging in the air.
