A multi-part audio sculpture, the audio track is a cyclical narrative** based on anecdote of a performance I undertook. This performance saw me infiltrated a foundation art field trip to re-live an epiphany with regards to Michael Craig-Martins ‘An Oak Tree’ whilst sketching Blackfriars Bridge and St Pauls Cathedral along the River Thames. The narrative is in three voices, an internal monologue and two observers, the narrative ebbs from positive to negative interpretation.
** Special thanks to Dr. Heidi James-Dunbar (creating a text/script based on my synopsis/brief), Richard Shields (non-distinct London accent), Jane Chavez-Dawson (non-distinct Welsh and Spanish accent), Stratton Barrett (recording and production) and Len Horsey (fabrication).
