Etna

'Etna' was the result of my contribution to the 'Test Space International at Manifesta 12'. The project asked a group of twelve artists to send instructions to the Test Space team for how a block of orange plasticine should be responded to remotely on Sicily during the running of Manifesta 12. My instructions were to: "Use the plasticine to make an embodiment of an emblematic local landmark or archeological object. Site this in a location deemed appropriate and document" The participating artists were: Blue Rider, Eilis Kirby, Frances Kelly, Harry Meadley, Hayley Lock, Helen Grant, lewd jaw, Mark Samsworth, Martyn Cross, Polly Kelsall, Robert Foster and Thomas Goddard.
