Light and Sound installation. Horizontal fluorescent lights, covered with coloured filters, sub-divide the space, the colour reflected in the white walls and ceiling. This meeting of colour plays on ideas of the liminal, the sublime, a border area where there is a place of disturbance, a mixing of ideas from either side. A persistent hum echoes throughout the space, the sound of the starter of the fluorescent tubes amplified and looped that is, under normal circumstances, unheard in everyday life.
