This is an image of a child (girl) farmworker from the American Archives of Photography capturing the hardship of slaves in the United States. The image has been transformed through the process of monoprinting, using four layers of colour which were each laid onto acrylic plates, each colour layered on top of one another to complete the final monotype print.
