Final Flight

A deer's skull has had velvet stitched over its antlers, and tiny velvet wings attached to them. It sits on a blue velvet cushion. Work made in response to the natural history collection in the Bell Pettigrew Museum in St Andrews. Bell Pettigrew was a Victorian collector with a particular interest in flight.
