From Within Biology

By  Alexis Rago 2011

the artist

"From Within Biology" was a show in which three-dimensional drawings of biological concepts were shown in the context of The Linnean Society of London library - a treasure house of how life forms and their processes have been visualised over the centuries. The exhibition was accompanied by a lecture given by the artist referencing the philosophical writings of botanist and philosopher Agnes Arber in relation to natural history and art.
