Hazel Drops

This Autumnal response consists of circular cut hazel shapes left over from a previous leaf artwork,lightly balanced on the side of a curved treetrunk.I wanted to create a striking visual effect,making maximum use of the various colours of the Hazel leaf.The speckled effect transforms the treetrunk limb into a dazzling feature standing out against a misty backdrop.Very light winds prevailed,allowing for the delicate arrangement of the leaves and it was created at Yeathouse,West Cumbria in October 2025.
