“Horn Drawing “

The drawing of a horn was undertaken at the LEAF Landart Festival Reunion residency in Llano,Texas in 2025.I found the horn on a riverbank next to the river Llano and sketched the detail on a smooth rock underneath a busy bridge that spanned the river. I used pencil,pen,white charcoal and locally sourced sediment to draw out the details on the textured surface.The grain took a heavy  toll on the pencils,requiring almost constant sharpening under a hot Texan sun. I used a mixture of Digital and Analogue 35mm film process to document the artwork.
