Jaguar

This sculpture of a jaguar was commissioned by Unipart Logistics and BSkyB. It is made entirely from the WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment) and other materials recycled by BSkyB at Unipart's facility in Rugby. Materials include satellite dishes, metal brackets, remote controls and cables. It is a life size sculpture of the South American big cat.

Recycled sculpture. One of two large kinetic sculptures produced during 'Art of Waste', a Year of the Artist residency. A makeshift studio was set up in a shipping container at Freeman's Common Community Recycling Centre, and the sculptures were made from objects sourced from the household waste available at the site.
