Journey to Bristol

This was the first painting I did recording a journey to Bristol taken on the train.  The painting captures the movement through space, on the railway, capturing the glimpses seen, as the train sped by, capturing bits and pieces in my sketchbook as we went along.

Later that evening I began this painting, being the first of these series of works I title: Glimpses.
