Juxtapositions

'Juxtpositions', my collection of 16 miniature assemblages has been selected to be included in the International Art Textile Biennale 2023 touring to eight galleries in Australia. 

Concern for the environment influenced my reuse and recycling of materials. Each assemblage is constructed from scraps left over from my previous artworks. As the piece was made for submission to the above exhibition I took into consideration which materials would be allowed entry to Australia. For this reason, I didn't use wood, bark cloth, or anything organic which may have been rejected at the border.
