Made In More Than One Country

'Made in More Than One Country' is one in the series of works 'Connecting With Gertrude' created on a 15 month residency at Plymouth College of Art.' Made in More Than One Country' includes a stopframe animation showing the 'unpicking' of a note book belonging to the historical female explorer Gertrude Benham. The note book catalogues the objects that she collected on her eight trips around the world. The animation is only activated when someone uses the printing press.
