Mercury The Swift and Secret Messenger

One of my 'sculpture to wear' series looking at the power of fantasy and imagination. Source material included: the life of Sir John Soane who created an alter ego called Padre Giovanni; the scenes of beaming up in Star Trek; and a book from Soanes personal Library called "Mercury: or, the Secret and Swift Messenger. Shewing how a man may with privacy and speed communicate his thoughts to a friend at any distance."
