The starting point for this work is the home, it explores the concept of the home as an unending, continuous process, examining the way in which the function of the home can change due to its temporal nature and fragile boundaries where the accumulated histories of its inhabitants have left their traces within its walls. The works are both wall based and free standing, they resemble domestic interiors or the remains where the walls have become floors or ceilings and architectural references and domestic objects are displaced. The structures are located within memory and its disjointed nature. They subvert the conventions of architecture and allude to the absurdity of set design inviting the viewer to look behind and underneath.
