Octopus Gallery, Saffron Walden. Internal work in water tower, external work in outside space

I responded to the space in the water tower gallery/ I installed 6 wires cutting across a curved area of wall, alongside an installation of red skeletal frames, suspended from the ceiling to floor, using a single wire and tensioner.
Each wire had 3 frames above and below each other. The frames moved/ altered their position. The viewer was invited to inhabit the work, with a constantly changing experience of their relationship to the work, and the work’s relationship to the space.
On a flat wall I installed a blue grid, painted MDF, joined with screws. This also gave the viewer a changing experience when close to the work, looking through the work from either end.
