Cut up ash logs are randomly placed in a circular space. Despite the random placing patterns appear as small groups of log pieces form lines that change and reconnect with other pieces as you walk around the work. It is impossible to circumvent this - it is inherent in this system. The flat faces act as reflectors creating a series of ellipses or lights that appear to hover above the ground. Associations include floating, light on water, a body of water, cut down trees, energy, spaceships, the cosmos, spin, counters and lotto.
