RAF Neatishead Radar Defence Museum

By  Bev Broadhead 2018
At present a work in progress and residency that will culminate in the Norfolk and Norwich Festival Open Studios at the end of May 2018. Soon to open again to the public, RAF Neatishead Radar Defence Museum is a little known gem in Norfolk that houses artefacts from World War to Cold War radar surveillance. The operations room is in tact and volunteers, often ex employees of the base, are on hand to share their experiences and expertise. It’s a fascinating place in which I’m fortunate to be working and producing a body of work that reflects my take on what I discover here. http://www.radarmuseum.co.uk/
