A work made for the 'Evolving the Forest' Arts Conference at Dartington Hall, Devon.
A felled Redwood had been chain sawed into 3 parts .The parts were wrapped in bandage (held with safety pins) and painted with black crosses. The parts were reconnected with two metal hinges.
