Subject matter references use of gestural mark making language to explore vibrations from experiences of attending live performance by Jan Garbarek, saxophonist, whose use of intuitive sound making interwoven and counterpointed with other worldly chant, embraced the primeval antiphonal response. Mixed media painting on paper incorporating gestural mark making with use of layered techniques, water colour paint, acrylic ink and chalk pastel. This painting is one of an ongoing series.
