Sands of time & Ghosts of the temperate rainforest

By James Eddy 2022 - 2025

James Eddy

“Ghosts of the temperate rainforests”, was created for my MA Fine Art degree shows it highlights the loss of temperate rainforest from the West side of Britain and the plans to restore them.

It was part of a wider “Oak project”, which was a collaboration between the Lost Gardens of Heligan and Arts University Plymouth. I keep all the moss and ferns when I used a fallen oak to make several sculptures, see other posts.

Along side “Sands of time” the suggestion is that time is running out for nature. See “Sands of time’ post for further description.
