School of Fish: an upcycled installation at a Primary School

By  Alistair Lambert 2019 - 2020
An installation of over 300 upcycled milk carton fish, one made by almost every pupil at Tufnell Park Primary School in North London. Workshops to create the various skeleton fish were held in the old school building before it was demolished and now the shoal installed in the entrance hall of the new school building. The mesh panel it hangs from can be raised and lowered so that in time other artworks can be made to take it's place. The project developed from an initial workshop opportunity through artistsinresidence.co.uk and was then developed in collaboration with the school for it's new building.
