Sensorium

The Sensorium is the apparatus that enables an organism to perceive and make sense of their environment. This installation of neurons aims to highlight the inner voice and body conversation that allows us to operate in the world. It's organic visual impact shows clearly the way energy impulses and moves through the cells, with messages traveling and connecting through the dendrite arms that reach out seeking information and the axon that makes the ultimate connection. This piece offers educational value as well as social and philosophical underpinning theories.  With engagement always at the heart of my work, participants can send in messages via voice notes that will be embedded into the soundtrack.
