Serendipity

Three years in development, Serendipity is Will Carr's most considered new work — and possibly his most quietly ambitious. Its upper and lower elements operate on different mechanical principles; when a breeze catches both at once, the result is something close to a conversation.

Typical of all Carr's more recent work the kinetic elements are true to the physical form - elegant and refined. The movements are delightful, and echo the natural rhythms that are in force reacting to elements and yet seemingly making their own narrative in calm conditions.
