This piece followed on directly from ‘One Kilogramme of Red Wool’. A pair of shoes with 7kg of wool attached to them, were worn in the sea. The wool became very heavy as it soaked up water and it became almost impossible to move. The exertion required to manoeuvre the objects became the point of the work and a reflection upon the struggles of journey-making and migration. The artwork consists of both object and photographic image.
