The temporary intervention consisting of a balanced stack of rocks on the base of a shopping trolley was constructed at South Beach near Whitehaven in West Cumbria in October 2017.The towering stack serves to suggest the ultimate futility of an economic system that plunders the finite resources of the natural world and of the ultimate tidal backlash of Nature against these capitalistic systems.I got soaked documenting the downfall of the tower under the onslaught of massive waves of an angry tide and was exhilarated by the experiences of the day .
