Spatial work with perpendicular studio

By  Kim Norton 2017
Looking at making a small space to retreat for a moment, these models show the beginning of this thinking. We are interested in referencing vernacular architecture and by using clay based materials on canvas a soft structure is created. We believe that through careful, thoughtful, considered design our wellbeing can be improved through the spaces we encounter. Whether that’s the space we inhabit or the workplace we want to explore the phenomenological effects and ideas through spaces that exist independently.
