Spiral

By  Arron Kuiper 2017
A surreal and spiralling description of an entire river system, from mountain stream to estuary. The revolving motion and number of different natural habitats describe the similarities of the relationships rivers have with the entire range of eco-systems they pass through. The descent and widening of the river show its changing nature over its course and hints at how one change at any level can have consequences further downstream. This piece is ultimately about balance and interconnectivity over a larger distance than is normally perceived.
