‘Suspended Sleep’ - pink elastic stretched from the ceiling to just above carefully folded and bound sheets and mattress ticking with two small pink ceramic pieces with sound embedded. The elastic is weighted down by a mattress ticking sandbag. ‘Suspended Sleep’ aims to create a sense of the precariousness of sleep, difficulties in going to sleep, or remaining asleep. The embedded sound is the constant noise heard by a pulsatile tinnitus sufferer.
