By  Adrian Moakes 2004

Dimensions
100cm x 250cm x 120cm

A beautiful sculptural seat that sweeps round to form a spiral table. Originally commissioned for North Lincolnshire Museum, the design is inspired by its world renowned collection of Ammonites. The fossils are preserved in the subterranean Ironstone Rock, the rich source of ore that enabled the area's iron & steel industry. The photo shows a recent version of the bench that the artist has produced for public exhibitions, entitled 'The Ammonite Bench'. It can be seen at the RHS Show at Tatton Park, Cheshire, from 24-27 July 2014.
