The L Shaped Roof

By drawing on inspiration from the Mass Observation movement in the late 1930’s and Julian Trevelyan's collage work, I explored urban and rural landscapes, interpreting them through a contemporary lens. A photograph in the collection showed the artists working on the roof of the art gallery and I chose to work with perspective  mainly looking down on everyday views from multi storey carparks.
