Commissioned by Cumbria County Council as Artist and Interior Designer for The Settlement Arts and Learning Centre, Maryport, Cumbria. I created colour schemes inspired by the local environment of sun, sand, sea and ships, and worked closely with the Architects on the overall design schemes. In addition I designed a bespoke 'storytelling' fabric and wallpaper ('The Settlement Toile Tal') drawing from my own research and drop-in sessions with local people. The illustrations reference the past, present and future usage of this Georgian building. This image is the wallpaper which has been digitally printed (blue on cream) for use in the centre. Also available to purchase in bespoke colours - apply to artist.
