The temporary tideline intervention is the latest in a series of summer seaside artworks created on beaches in West Cumbria that combines natural and man made materials.Tideline bedrock was created at Parton beach and consists of pebbles placed into the spring sockets of a rusty discarded bed mattress .I photographed the artwork just as it succumbed to the incoming tide.
