"Tideline Colourwheel"

By  Tim Pugh 2020
The temporary installation was created in my garden in Flintshire,North Wales during the Covid-19 lockdown in June 2020. As access to sites to create installations was curtailed,I started to create temporary installations from my workshop resources .For "Tideline Colourwheel" I utilised my collection of tideline plastic, gathered from the beaches in Cumbria and created a colour wheel from all the separate components. The installation was created partly in response for respect to the NHS and also from being curious about what I could create from this workshop resource.I enjoyed the feeling of creating something from the plastic that had previously been arranged into hundreds of patterns and shapes by pupils in past school projects and it was now the time for me to have a go!
